Curator of style
My background is in writing and visual art – I think in narrative, composition, tension. Styling, for me, lives at that intersection. Which means when I work with you, I'm not assembling a look. I'm building something with structure and intention that belongs to you.
I am drawn to quality and design that speak quietly for themselves. Visible logos do not interest me. Subtlety carries more authority than display.
I care deeply about colour – sometimes tonal layering, depth and camaïeu; sometimes deliberate contrast, a clear colour block. In both cases, colour is not decoration. It's architecture.
Comfort matters. Natural fabrics matter. You should be able to move, sit, breathe, live – run, even – inside what you wear. Elegance collapses the moment you feel constrained.
I don't believe in monobrand dressing. Personality emerges in the space between pieces – in the dialogue, the slight tension, the unexpected pairing. I source with full freedom: new collections, vintage, exceptional pre-owned. What matters is integrity of cut, material and intention.
I work with a small number of clients. The process is close, unhurried and built around who you actually are – not a type, not a mood board, not a version of someone else.
In practice, this takes a few different forms.
Style consultation
A conversation before anything else. We look at where you are, where you want to go, and what's getting in the way. This is the foundation – useful on its own, and the natural starting point for everything below.
Wardrobe audit
We go through what you have with clear eyes. What works, what doesn't, what's been quietly draining your energy every morning. Drawing on the danshari principle – the art of letting go – we identify what stays, what leaves, and what genuine gaps remain.
Personal shopping
You tell me what you're looking for – or we define it together – and I find it. New collections, vintage, pre-owned. I do the searching, the sourcing, the editing. You receive a considered selection, not an overwhelming one.
Occasion, capsule & travel dressing
A specific event. A two-week trip. A new chapter that calls for a new wardrobe foundation. When the context is defined, I work within it precisely.
I work both in person and remotely, depending on where you are and what the project calls for. First conversations are always free.
This is not about impressing anyone.
It's about self-recognition.
That quiet moment when you look in the mirror and think, "Ah. There I am."
